Women in Business Rock: Natel Allen-Founder of Indie Nail Polish Brand Telle Moi

 



Here at Female Boss Lifestyle, we are passionate about supporting both established and up and coming female entrepreneurs. Today, we are featuring trailblazing boss lady Natel Allen. 

Natel is the founder of indie nail polish brand Telle Moi. A UK-based vegan and non-toxic nail polish brand that produces beautiful nude and colourful nail shades for women searching for a nail colour that fits their skin tone. 

Telle Moi came into existence in 2019, Allen was inspired to create her own nail polish shade after endlessly searching for a nude polish to fit her skin tone. After her long search proved futile, Natel began to research ways to make her own nail polish shade. After tirelessly researching and experimenting, Natel came up with the perfect shade. The seeds for Telle Moi were sewn and a year later, Natel launched Telle Moi with four nude shades. 

When we asked Natel about the struggles that she has faced as a solo entrepreneur, she stated that her main struggle was finding the time to get everything done. As she currently operates Telle Moi alongside her full-time job working at a London University. 

Natel also gave advice to up and coming entrepreneurs by emphasising the importance of research. As a business owner, you also need to plan and make sure that you have a backup plan if something goes wrong. For example, researching suppliers and having back up suppliers just in case there are delays or stock shortages. 

As an entirely self-funded business, Telle Moi is a huge example of what you can achieve as a solo entrepreneur when you work hard and set your mind to achieving your set goals. 

Telle Moi produces more than 40 shades currently, and as the brand continues to grow, we are one billion percent sure that Natel Allen will continue to push the brand in the right direction to achieve more and more groundbreaking milestones.
